Sighaty vs Hoquqi: which should you use for Saudi legal documents?
Hoquqi is a law firm that sells documents and consultations, and Sighaty is a certified bilingual template library with smart-fill. Here is what we found at each on 3 October 2026, and when each option suits you.
If you are looking for a ready-made Saudi contract you will come across at least two names: Hoquqi, a law firm in Madinah that sells legal documents and consultations through an online store, and Sighaty, a certified bilingual template library. Both sell Saudi legal documents, but they differ in the nature of the product, how a document is prepared and who stands behind it, and the right choice depends on the document you actually need.
We wrote this comparison as one of the two parties, so we held ourselves to one rule: every fact about Hoquqi comes from its public pages as they appeared on 3 October 2026, attributed to it, and anything we could not verify we say so plainly. Below you will find clear points where Hoquqi does better than Sighaty, because a comparison in which one side wins every row is not worth reading.
Get the Fixed-Term Employment Contract templateE-01The honest verdict: who Hoquqi is for and who Sighaty is for
Hoquqi is a good fit if your problem is close to a dispute or sits in a specialised sector, and you want the lawyer in the same store you bought the document from. Its store offers short consultations at a low price and specialised bundles for construction contracts and for financial fraud cases, and the text is attributed to a law firm as its author.
Sighaty is a good fit if you run a small or medium business and need recurring operational documents, especially in hiring, HR and debt collection, in Arabic and English together, and you want the document to come out ready from your answers instead of editing a Word file by hand. On the day we checked, these categories were exactly where the two differed most, as you will read below.
What Hoquqi actually is, and what Sighaty is
Hoquqi is a law and legal consultancy firm in Madinah, with its own site at hoquqi.com. The subtle point in understanding Hoquqi is that it shows two different things, and it matters that the reader does not mix them up.
- The gallery or registry: a page on the firm's site that lists 69 items, 41 marked available and 28 marked coming soon, with a price per document between 50 and 200 riyals. It includes an NDA, services and supply contracts, founders and partners agreements, a privacy policy and a commercial lease. All 16 HR documents and all 10 governance documents are marked coming soon. We did not find e-commerce terms and conditions in it, nor standalone debt-collection documents. The gallery itself says that purchase happens through the Hoquqi store.
- The store: platform.hoquqi.com, a store on the Salla platform. When we checked it on 3 October 2026 it listed seven products: four single-issue 30-minute consultations at 99 riyals each (general, financial fraud, insurance and construction), a protection and recovery bundle for financial fraud cases with 20 forms at 350 riyals, a construction contracts and management bundle with 20 forms at 450 riyals, and an HR recruitment bundle with 15 forms.
Here is the most important observation: we did not find the single documents listed in the gallery for sale in the store on the day we checked, and the store's contracts category was empty. We do not know why. So if you see a document in the gallery with its price, open the store and confirm it can be bought before you base your decision on it.
Sighaty is a Saudi platform with 67 certified templates in seven packs: employment and HR (18), commercial contracts (13), formation and governance (10), digital and e-commerce (8), debt collection (7), property and lease (5), and intellectual property and data (6). Each template is certified under the name of a licensed Saudi lawyer and updated as Saudi law changes. You answer a short smart-fill questionnaire, the certified text is assembled with your details in their places, and a bilingual Word document comes out in minutes. Sighaty is not a law firm, and it does not use AI to write or review contracts.
Head-to-head, point by point
- What you get today: in the Hoquqi store on the day we checked, three specialised bundles and four consultations, and we found no single documents. At Sighaty, 67 single templates available by subscription or one-time purchase, plus packs.
- How a document is produced: Hoquqi delivers editable Word files that the buyer completes with the business's details by hand, and we found no questionnaire or automatic generation. Sighaty builds the document from your answers in the smart-fill questionnaire, selecting the right variant clauses.
- Language and file format: Hoquqi is in Arabic, its gallery says documents are issued in Arabic unless stated otherwise, and delivery is in Word. Sighaty issues the document in Arabic and English in one Word file, with the Arabic text prevailing on divergence.
- Price and how you pay: Hoquqi sells per item, a consultation at 99 riyals and bundles at 350 and 450 riyals, and its gallery shows 50 to 200 riyals per document; we found no statement on whether VAT is included. Sighaty offers a free plan, subscriptions from 99 riyals a month, and one-time purchase at 99, 199 or 329 riyals per template depending on complexity, with prices including 15 percent VAT.
- Who stands behind the text: Hoquqi says its lawyers drafted the documents and reviewed them before making them available. Sighaty certifies each template under the name of a licensed Saudi lawyer. In both cases the text is stated to be prepared or certified by a lawyer; the difference is that Hoquqi is a law firm that also offers representation and advice, while Sighaty is a template platform that represents no one.
- How the text stays current: Hoquqi's gallery says the documents receive periodic updates when any regulatory amendment is issued, and the store says buyers get later updates free of charge; we found no last-updated date per document. At Sighaty, law-change updates are included on the paid plans and not on the free plan.
- Refunds: we found no refund statement on the Hoquqi pages we checked. Sighaty's policy: a full refund before download, digital-content exceptions after access, and a defective file is always replaced or refunded.
- Extras: Hoquqi offers paid consultations with a lawyer in the same store. Sighaty offers the compliance calendar with reminders, the document vault, review-link sharing, and one 30-minute review with a licensed lawyer each quarter on the Business Plus plan only.
Where Hoquqi does better
- A law firm is the stated author of the text, and the lawyer is available in the same store. If after buying a document you need someone to review your case or represent you, the path from document to lawyer is short.
- Low-cost human escalation: 99 riyals for a 30-minute single-issue consultation, general or on financial fraud, insurance or construction. Sighaty offers no live consultation except one quarterly review on the Business Plus plan.
- Specialised bundles Sighaty does not have: the construction contracts and management bundle and the financial fraud protection and recovery bundle, each with 20 forms. Its store recommends a lawyer review of the construction contract before signing and offers a construction consultation for that purpose.
- Titles in its gallery that are not in Sighaty's catalogue, including governance documents, an information security policy and an AI-use policy, although the governance documents are marked coming soon.
- Simple one-time pricing per item: the store sells each bundle and consultation on its own, and the gallery prices each document, with no subscription to manage and no plan to choose.
- It says plainly when you need a lawyer: its gallery advises reviewing a document with a lawyer if the case is unusual or a dispute exists.
Where Sighaty does better, and its limits
- Employment, HR and debt-collection documents exist and can be bought today: 18 templates in Pack E, including the Fixed-Term Employment Contract E-01, and 7 in Pack B, including the demand letter and the acknowledgment of debt. At Hoquqi on the day we checked, the HR documents in the gallery were marked coming soon, and we did not find an employment contract or a warning letter in the description of its recruitment bundle.
- A bilingual document: Arabic and English in one file, which matters when the employee or the counterparty does not read Arabic.
- Smart-fill instead of hand editing: you answer the questions, and the system places your details in every spot and selects the right variant clauses, which cuts copying and omission errors.
- A free plan with no card, stated prices including VAT, a published refund policy, and ZATCA tax invoices.
- Operational tools around the document: the compliance calendar with reminders, the document vault and review-link sharing.
Sighaty's limits are just as clear: it is not a law firm and represents no one in a dispute, it offers no live consultation except one quarterly review on Business Plus, it does not review a contract someone else sent you, and it does no bespoke drafting. The catalogue is a fixed 67 templates, so if your document is not in it Sighaty cannot make it, and it has no construction or fraud bundles. It has no e-signature and no team workspaces, since an account belongs to one person. Smart-fill is not available on the free plan.
When to choose Hoquqi and when to choose Sighaty
- Choose Hoquqi if you are a contractor or deal with construction contracts and want a specialised bundle with the option to consult a lawyer in the same field.
- Choose Hoquqi if you have been hit by financial fraud and want demand and recovery forms with a specialist consultation.
- Choose Hoquqi if your matter is closer to a dispute and you need a lawyer's view of your facts before any document.
- Choose Sighaty if you are hiring and need the employment contract and everything around it, the regulation, letters and termination documents, bearing in mind that the employment contract is documented on Qiwa, and the template prepares you for what you will enter there and covers the documents Qiwa does not issue.
- Choose Sighaty if you have employees or partners who do not read Arabic and need a bilingual text.
- Choose Sighaty if you have an overdue debt and need a demand letter, an acknowledgment of debt and a payment schedule outside a fraud context.
- Use both if you buy your operational documents from Sighaty and then need a short consultation on a specific issue, or a construction bundle that Sighaty does not have.
How we checked this
On 3 October 2026 we reviewed Hoquqi's site and document gallery at hoquqi.com, and its store at platform.hoquqi.com, including its public product list and the text of its descriptions. We did not sign up, add anything to a cart or buy. Hoquqi's statements reported here, paraphrased or quoted, are attributed to it.
Facts about other companies were taken from their public pages on 3 October 2026, and prices and catalogues change, so check the current page before you decide. If anything here is out of date or wrong, tell Sighaty support so it is corrected. Sighaty templates are certified drafts and a strong starting point, not a substitute for advice on a specific case or a live dispute, and the Arabic text prevails where Arabic and English diverge.

In the Hoquqi store on 3 October 2026: a 30-minute consultation at 99 riyals, the financial fraud bundle at 350 riyals and the construction contracts bundle at 450 riyals. Its gallery shows prices between 50 and 200 riyals per document, but we did not find those single documents for sale in the store. We found no statement on whether prices include VAT.
Are Hoquqi's documents available in English?
Hoquqi's gallery says documents are issued in Arabic unless stated otherwise, and we found no English products in its store. Sighaty templates are issued in Arabic and English in one document, with the Arabic text prevailing on divergence.
Do Hoquqi or Sighaty offer legal consultations?
Hoquqi's store offers 30-minute single-issue consultations at 99 riyals, which is a clear advantage. Sighaty is not a law firm and offers no live consultation except one 30-minute review with a licensed lawyer per quarter on the Business Plus plan.
Do I need a template if the employment contract is documented on Qiwa?
The employment contract is documented through Qiwa, and a template does not replace that. A template helps you enter Qiwa knowing the terms you will write, and prepare the surrounding hiring documents Qiwa does not issue, such as the offer letter and warning letters, and the draft internal work regulation that you prepare yourself and then submit for approval through Qiwa.
