Sighaty vs Shwra: a ready template or a lawyer on the phone?

Shwra is a platform that connects you with lawyers for a consultation, drafting or representation, and Sighaty is a library of certified templates that produces the document in minutes. They are two different kinds of service, and this comparison explains when each one fits and when you need both.

When a business owner faces a legal need, the choice usually comes down to two paths: call a lawyer who listens and answers, or get a ready document to fill in and sign. Shwra clearly represents the first path: it is a platform that brings together lawyers who provide consultations, drafting and representation. Sighaty represents the second: a library of 67 certified templates that produces an Arabic and English document in Word format.

So you will not find a winner on every row here. Comparing two different kinds of service means each is stronger in its own place, and the right question is not which is better, but which fits your need today: a live dispute or an unusual deal, or a standard document every business needs.

Everything stated here about Shwra is taken from its public pages and app listing as they appeared on 3 October 2026, and is attributed to it. Where we did not find a fact, or found its own pages disagreeing, we say so plainly.

The short verdict: who Shwra is for, and who Sighaty is for

If you have a specific legal problem, such as a dispute with a client who refuses to pay after an exchange of messages, an employee threatening a claim, a large deal on unusual terms, or a family or criminal matter, you need a lawyer who hears your facts, and Shwra is built for that. If you need the standard documents that recur in every business's life, such as a confidentiality agreement, an offer letter, a first demand letter or a returns policy for your store, a certified template with smart-fill is faster and costs less, and that is what Sighaty provides.

Between the two paths there is a practical option that is often the smartest: prepare the document on Sighaty, then pay a lawyer for a short review before signing, whether through Shwra or elsewhere. Sighaty's own Business Plus plan includes one 30-minute review with a licensed lawyer each quarter.

What Shwra actually is, and what Sighaty actually is

Shwra describes itself on its site as a licensed platform that brings together an elite group of lawyers, and says its lawyers are licensed by the Ministry of Justice. Those are its own descriptions. The platform lists more than twenty practice areas, including family, criminal, labour, commercial, real estate, enforcement and more. It also has a business arm that lists services such as arbitration, debt collection, company formation and governance.

  • Services as its site lists them: legal consultations, contract drafting and review, legal memoranda, legal and judicial representation, notary services and legal translation.
  • Consultations come in three fixed-price packages, with prices including VAT as its page states: Main at 149 riyals for 20 minutes, Golden at 499 riyals for 20 minutes, and Platinum at 999 riyals for 50 minutes with a lawyer who has more than ten years of experience.
  • Contract drafting is lawyer-led and quote-based: its FAQ says lawyers submit their offers after reviewing the required service and you choose the offer that suits you, and that turnaround depends on the number of contract pages and the client's needs.
  • Mobile apps; its Google Play listing on 3 October 2026 showed 4.2 stars from 631 reviews and more than 100K downloads.

Sighaty, for its part, is neither a law firm nor a lawyer platform. It is a library of 67 templates in seven packs covering employment and HR, commercial contracts, company formation and governance, e-commerce, debt collection, property and lease, and intellectual property and data. Each template is certified under the name of a licensed Saudi lawyer and kept current as Saudi law changes on the paid plans. You answer a short questionnaire, the certified text is assembled with your details and the right options, and you get an Arabic and English Word document in minutes. The legal wording is the certified text itself, and Sighaty does not use AI to write or review contracts.

Head-to-head on what matters

  • What you get: on Shwra you get a lawyer's time, a consultation call, a drafting job or representation. On Sighaty you get a ready document from a fixed catalogue of 67 templates.
  • How a document is produced: on Shwra a lawyer drafts the contract after you pick their offer, with timing depending on pages and needs. On Sighaty you fill in the questionnaire and the document comes out at once, with no quote cycle.
  • Language and file format: we did not find anything on Shwra's pages stating the language or file format of a drafted contract. Sighaty outputs a bilingual Arabic and English Word document, with the Arabic prevailing where they differ.
  • Price and payment: Shwra consultations cost 149, 499 or 999 riyals including VAT, drafting is quoted with no published figure that we found, and payment is by mada, Apple Pay, Visa and Mastercard, with Tamara instalments. Sighaty has a free plan, then 99 riyals a month for Essential, 249 for Professional and 599 for Business Plus, or a single template for 99, 199 or 329 riyals, all prices including VAT, paid by mada, Visa or Mastercard with a tax invoice.
  • Who stands behind the text and how it stays current: on Shwra it is the lawyer whose offer you chose, and any update is whatever you agree with them. On Sighaty the text is certified under the name of a licensed Saudi lawyer, and law-change updates are included on the paid plans, not on Free.
  • Extras: Shwra lists representation, memoranda, notary services and translation among its services, and says it offers review of contracts other people send you by licensed lawyers. Sighaty offers a compliance calendar with reminders, a document vault and review-link sharing.

Shwra's Arabic and English consultation pages differ on some of what each package includes, such as the written summary, the number of questions and the discount on the next consultation. So we have not listed each package's inclusions; read the page itself before booking.

Where Shwra is clearly stronger

  • A live lawyer for your own dispute: if you face a problem with its own facts, a call with a licensed lawyer gives you practical advice tailored to your situation, which no template provides.
  • Bespoke drafting for unusual deals: when a contract is unfamiliar or high-value, a lawyer drafting it from scratch for your circumstances fits better than a fixed template.
  • Beyond the document: court representation, legal memoranda, notary services and legal translation, all in one place. Sighaty does not represent anyone in a dispute.
  • Areas Sighaty never touches: family, criminal and personal-status matters, all within Shwra's listed practice areas.
  • Review of a contract someone else sent you: Shwra says it offers contract review by specialised lawyers, and Sighaty cannot review a contract it did not produce.
  • Instalments and mobile apps: Tamara instalments are available, and its Google Play listing showed more than 100K downloads on 3 October 2026.

Where Sighaty is stronger, and what it does not do

  • Speed for a standard document: it is ready minutes after the questionnaire, without waiting for offers or appointments.
  • A published price known in advance: you know what you will pay before you start, prices include VAT, and the Free plan needs no card.
  • A bilingual Word document: Arabic and English in an editable file, useful when one party does not read Arabic.
  • Predictable cost for recurring documents: a business that prepares offer letters, warnings and NDAs every month pays a fixed subscription instead of a fee per document.
  • The compliance calendar: reminders of your business's regulatory dates, available even on the Free plan.

Sighaty's limits are clear and you should know them before choosing: no e-signature, no AI drafting or AI questions, no review of third-party contracts, no live consultation except one 30-minute review per quarter on Business Plus, no bespoke drafting and no team workspaces. The catalogue is a fixed 67 documents, so if yours is not in it, Sighaty cannot make it. It is not a law firm and does not represent anyone in a dispute.

Decision rules for real situations

  • A client is late paying and has not yet disputed the debt: start with a formal demand letter from Sighaty's B-01 template, which is one of the documents available on the Free plan. If the client contests the debt or it turns into a dispute, that is where a lawyer comes in, from Shwra or elsewhere.
  • A labour claim or a live disagreement with an employee: choose Shwra or any lawyer you trust. Do not rely on a template to decide your position in a dispute.
  • A family, criminal or personal-status matter: Shwra or a specialist lawyer, since Sighaty does not cover these areas at all.
  • A high-value deal or one with unusual terms: have a lawyer draft it. If the contract type is in Sighaty's catalogue, starting from the certified template and taking it to the lawyer may save you time and fees.
  • Standard documents that recur every month, such as offer letters, warnings and NDAs: Sighaty, with a fixed cost and an instant document.
  • You want both: prepare the document on Sighaty, then book a short consultation to review it before signing, or use the quarterly review on Business Plus.

How we checked this comparison

On 3 October 2026 we reviewed Shwra's public pages in Arabic and English: the homepage, the consultation page with its packages, the contract drafting page, the FAQ, the Shwra Business site and its Google Play listing. We read each package's inclusions from the icons shown on the page itself, and we did not sign up, book or pay. We did not find Shwra's refund policy or a published price for contract drafting, so we say nothing about either.

Facts about other companies were taken from their public pages on 3 October 2026, and prices and services change, so check the current page before you decide. If anything here is out of date or wrong, tell Sighaty support so it is corrected. Sighaty templates are certified drafts and a strong starting point, not a substitute for advice on a specific case or a live dispute, and the Arabic text prevails where Arabic and English diverge.

Frequently asked questions

Is Shwra better than Sighaty for writing contracts?

It depends on the contract. For an unusual or high-value contract, Shwra gives you a lawyer who drafts it for a quoted price you choose. For standard contracts in Sighaty's catalogue, the certified template is ready in minutes at a published price. Many people combine the two: a Sighaty template, then a short lawyer review.

How much does a consultation cost on Shwra?

Per its page on 3 October 2026: Main is 149 riyals for 20 minutes, Golden 499 riyals for 20 minutes and Platinum 999 riyals for 50 minutes, prices including VAT. The packages differ in what they include, and its Arabic and English pages do not match on some details, so read the page before booking.

How much does contract drafting cost on Shwra?

We did not find a published price. Its FAQ says lawyers submit offers after reviewing the required service, you choose the one that suits you, and timing depends on the number of pages and your needs.

Does Sighaty offer a lawyer consultation like Shwra?

Not in the same sense. Sighaty is a template library, not a lawyer platform. The Business Plus plan at 599 riyals a month includes one 30-minute review with a licensed lawyer per quarter, and that is all the live advice it offers. Sighaty does not represent anyone in a dispute.

Is a demand letter template enough instead of a lawyer to collect a debt?

It is enough as a first step when the debt is clear and the debtor has not disputed it: a formal letter with a set deadline that records the claim. If the debtor contests it or it becomes a dispute, consult a lawyer before any next step, because a template does not replace advice on a live dispute.
