Signit alternatives for ready-made contract templates
Before looking for an alternative, pin down what you want to replace: the e-signature, the contract management, or simply correct wording for a document you need. Each need has a different alternative, and sometimes you need none.
The phrase “Signit alternative” is typed into search engines by very different people. Some are procurement managers comparing e-signature platforms for a large company, and some are online store owners who heard that Signit offers ready contract templates and want a returns policy or an NDA without subscribing to a whole platform. The answer for the first is completely different from the answer for the second.
This page is aimed mainly at the second group: people looking for the templates and ready contracts themselves. Sighaty, which writes this page, is not an e-signature platform, so we will not present it as an alternative for signing or for contract management, because it offers neither. What we offer here is an honest map of the options, including the places where Signit itself is the right choice.
Browse the certified template libraryWhy people look for an alternative to Signit
Most reasons for looking for an alternative have nothing to do with the platform's quality, and everything to do with the distance between what it was built for and what the searcher needs. Signit presents itself as a contract management and e-signature platform, says more than 700 organisations trust it, and its site clearly addresses government, enterprises, financial services, insurance, healthcare, real estate and startups. These are the reasons we hear most often:
- You need the wording, not the signature: you already sign on paper or through a government platform, and all you lack is correct wording for one document. That is not a shortcoming of Signit, just a different need.
- You want to see the library before subscribing: Signit mentions templates for NDAs, HR, business and board agreements, but we found no public list, count or titles, and the templates page on its site did not open when we checked on 3 October 2026.
- You want a published price: its pricing page shows no figures, only a free trial button for the eSignature plan and a Talk to Sales button for the contract management plan. The only figure we found is in a post on its blog modified on 1 April 2026: starts at 80 riyals per user per month, VAT not stated, and it may not reflect current pricing.
- You want to know who stands behind the text: Signit describes its templates as aligned with Saudi legal frameworks, and we did not find the name of an author or reviewer, or a published update policy.
- Your business is small: ten employees and a few contracts a year do not need approval workflows, bulk sending or integration with company systems.
When staying with Signit is the right call
If you use Signit for what it was designed for, looking for a replacement probably wastes your time. Stay with it in these cases, and add a source of wording alongside it if you need one, rather than replacing it:
- You sign many contracts with outside parties and need to verify signer identity, for which Signit lists options including Nafath, Absher, Wathq, SMS and WhatsApp.
- You need proof of what happened: an audit trail with timestamps and document sealing, which Signit shows as part of its eSignature plan.
- You have a team that negotiates, redlines, approves and tracks renewals, and needs one repository for contracts.
- Your IT department requires data hosting in Saudi Arabia, an API and webhooks, all of which Signit lists on its site.
- Your contracts are specific to your sector, you benefit from AI drafting in Arabic and English, and you have someone to review the draft, since Signit's own FAQ says final review and approval remain with your team.
The real alternatives, by type
- Government platforms: some of what you think needs an e-signature already has its official platform. The employment contract is documented on Qiwa and the employee signs it electronically from their account, the lease is registered on Ejar, the promissory note is created on Nafith, and powers of attorney and notarisation go through the Ministry of Justice services. Their strength is that they are the official route, and their limit is that they do not issue the rest of a business's documents, such as an NDA or a privacy policy.
- A lawyer or a consultation platform: suitable for a non-standard contract, a risky deal or a live dispute. For example, Shwra lists its basic consultation at 149 riyals including VAT for a 20-minute call, and its contract drafting is by quotes submitted by lawyers. The limit is that cost and time rise with every document.
- AI drafting tools: they write a draft of almost any contract. For example, Adel lists two plans at 124 and 165 riyals a month with no VAT wording, and creates the document through a smart questionnaire. The limit is that the text is generated and needs someone to review it.
- Other e-signature tools: if signing is really what you want to replace, compare signing platforms on identity verification, audit trail, data hosting and price. That comparison is outside this page, because Sighaty offers no signing.
- Free templates online: useful for understanding a contract's structure before talking to a lawyer. Their limit is that many have no update date and no one answerable for the text.
- Sighaty: a library of 67 templates certified under the name of a licensed Saudi lawyer, filled through a questionnaire into a bilingual Word file. Its limit is that it does not sign and only produces what is in its catalogue.
Where Sighaty fits, and what you give up
Sighaty replaces only one part of what Signit offers: the source of the wording. The whole catalogue is visible before sign-up with titles, codes and prices, in seven packs covering employment and HR, commercial contracts, company formation and governance, digital and e-commerce, debt collection, property and lease, and intellectual property and data. The free plan, with no card, lets you keep 3 of 9 documents, including the Mutual NDA C-08, the Offer Letter E-05 and the Returns and Refund Policy D-05, but smart-fill is not included. The Essential plan at 99 riyals a month or 950 a year covers 30 templates and 5 smart-fill documents a month, and Professional at 249 riyals a month covers the whole library with unlimited smart-fill. All prices include VAT.
What you give up by leaving Signit for Sighaty alone is a lot, so say it plainly to your team: no e-signature, no identity checks and no audit trail; no negotiation, approvals or renewal reminders; no AI to write a contract outside the catalogue or review one another party sent you; and no team accounts with roles, since an account belongs to one person. So a full move only makes sense if you were not using these features in the first place.
A practical checklist before you switch or try
- Write down the documents you actually needed in the last twelve months, and separate those that need wording from those that only need signing.
- Remove whatever has a government platform: the employment contract on Qiwa, the lease on Ejar, the promissory note on Nafith.
- Match what remains against Sighaty's published catalogue, and against what Signit shows you inside your account if you subscribe.
- Try Sighaty's free plan on a real document you need, such as the NDA C-08.
- Compare the two versions on specific points: who stands behind the text, when it was last updated, whether there is an authoritative Arabic text, and how easy it is to fill.
- Decide: stay, switch, or use Sighaty for the wording and an e-signature tool for signing.
Who should not switch
- Anyone who relies on e-signature with identity checks in daily work, since Sighaty does not replace that.
- Companies that built their approval workflows, contract repository and integrations on Signit.
- Anyone who needs many non-standard contracts that change with every deal, since a fixed catalogue will not cover them.
- Contract teams where several people work on the same account with different roles.
Facts about Signit and other companies were taken from their public pages on 3 October 2026. Prices and catalogues change, so check the current page before you decide, and if anything here is out of date or wrong, tell Sighaty support so it is corrected. Sighaty templates are certified drafts and a strong starting point, not a substitute for advice on a specific case or dispute, and where the Arabic and English texts diverge, the Arabic text prevails.
If what you are after is the wording rather than the signature, browse the Sighaty library first and confirm your document is in it before deciding anything.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to Signit in Saudi Arabia?
There is no single alternative, because Signit combines more than one need. If you want a replacement for signing, compare e-signature platforms; if you want certified wording for standard documents, a template library such as Sighaty; and if the contract is non-standard, a lawyer.
Is Sighaty an alternative to Signit for e-signature?
No. Sighaty offers no e-signature. It produces the document as a Word file, and you sign it the way you choose, including in Signit itself.
Where can I find ready contract templates without subscribing to a signing platform?
Free templates online are good for understanding, and certified libraries are good for use. In Sighaty you can keep 3 of 9 documents free with no card, or buy a single template once for 99, 199 or 329 riyals including VAT.
Is there a free alternative to Signit?
For signing, some documents have a government platform where the party signs from their own account, such as the employment contract on Qiwa. For wording, Sighaty's free plan includes everyday documents such as the NDA and the demand letter. As for Signit's free trial, we found no published length or terms.
