A work-for-hire agreement governs a very common situation that is rarely written down: one party commissions a specific creative work, and a creator produces it for an agreed fee. It covers photography, design, writing, editing, content, and software. Most disputes over creative work are not about the amount, they are about unlimited revision rounds, about the source file the client asks for that was never part of the deal, and about the creator publishing the work in a portfolio. The agreement settles all three before work starts. الاتفاقيتان تخدمان حالتين مختلفتين. العمل بتكليف يُبرَم قبل التنفيذ وينظم إنتاج المخرج وملكيته منذ البداية، أما اتفاقية نقل الملكية I-01 فتُستخدم لنقل حق قائم فعلاً في أصل موجود. إن كان العمل لم يبدأ بعد فهذا هو النموذج المناسب، وإن كان منجزاً وتريد نقل ملكيته فاستخدم I-01.

The two serve different situations. A work-for-hire agreement is signed before execution and governs the production of the deliverable and its ownership from the outset, while the IP assignment I-01 is used to transfer an existing right in an asset that already exists. If the work has not started, this is the right template, and if it is finished and you want to move ownership, use I-01.
